Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide safe and accurate medication administration for residents in a senior living setting. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and monitor residents for symptoms, reporting changes as needed.

The role involves SHUs, transcription of physician orders, and maintaining secure medication carts with narcotic counts, ensuring regulatory compliance for a compliant, compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom relief through medication administration
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
