Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support in a senior living environment. You will administer medications, monitor residents’ health, and document accurately in MAR/TAR in real time, ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards.

You will observe health changes, report adverse reactions, and participate in SHUs, while maintaining medication carts and narcotic counts to safeguard resident safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong assessment, observation, and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time and transcribe physician orders.
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals, and conduct SHUs.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure regulatory compliance.
