The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities that support residents' physical, mental and social well‑being. This full‑time role may require weekend work and a Sunday‑Thursday schedule, with compensation starting at $19 per hour based on experience.

The position emphasizes engaging programs for a diverse senior population and collaboration with the Life Enrichment team to promote wellness across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience with seniors in activities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate resident activities and events.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities on disease prevention and wellness topics.
• Lead daily resident activities per community standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars.
• Plan and execute diverse programs for a diverse resident population.
• Schedule will be Sunday–Thursday.
• Assist with resident transportation and operate the shuttle.
