Job summary

Avalon of Commerce Township is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities for residents, enhancing their physical, mental, and social well-being.

You will assist with monthly calendars, lead daily activities, and develop programs for diverse resident needs, including memory care. High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities monthly.
• Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities on disease prevention for residents and staff.
• Lead daily resident activities per Community standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars.
• Plan diverse programs for memory care and aging needs.
