Job summary

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities that support residents’ physical, mental, and social well-being. The role requires working some weekends and offers a starting hourly wage of $19, based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with monthly calendars, leading daily activities, and promoting an engaging community culture for residents and staff across memory care and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities including monthly calendars and special events.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities for residents and staff in disease prevention and wellness.
• Lead daily resident activities per community standards.
• Plan and execute diverse programs for a varied resident population, including memory care.
