Baptist Senior Family is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and lead engaging activities that enhance social, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing for residents. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide person-centered programming and foster a compassionate, inclusive environment.

The role involves developing calendars, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate documentation while complying with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation Therapy or five years of equivalent long-term care experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop engaging programs for older adults.
• Strong documentation, time management, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead life enrichment programs for residents.
• Develop activity calendars, events, and outings for diverse abilities.
• Complete documentation, assessments, care plans, progress notes, and participation records per regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers in collaboration with nursing staff.
