Job summary

Volunteers of America Oklahoma is seeking a Leasing Assistant to provide frontline administrative support for an independent living community for seniors and residents with disabilities. The role involves greeting residents, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth property operations on-site in McPherson, KS.

You will handle lease renewals, collections, and Move-in/Move-out tasks while maintaining positive relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of college coursework or administrative experience required.
• Leasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle correspondence, telephone contacts, and incoming mail in a professional and expedient manner.
• Greet visitors, screen incoming calls, schedule appointments, and organize required activities.
• Present property and apartments in a manner consistent with the image of the property and relevant to the prospect.
• Assist in lease renewal process.
• Assist in the collection of late rent and other monies due.
• Assist with move-in/move-out procedures.
• Assist with follow-up calls, maintenance requests, & bank deposits.
