Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a culinary professional to support the Food Services Department in our Oregon community. Under the direction of the Food Services Director, you will help with ordering, preparation, delivery, and cleanliness in line with health regulations, while fostering a positive environment for residents.

Responsibilities include scheduling staff, orienting new hires, maintaining equipment, ensuring nutritional meal presentation, and adherence to residents' rights and safety

Qualifications

• Culinary arts training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families; work cooperatively with staff and vendors.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff under the Food Services Director; orient new staff.
• Ensure equipment is maintained, areas are clean, safe and orderly; follow infection control procedures.
• Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals and snacks for residents with dietary needs; store food properly.
