Job summary

Oakmont of Redding is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized dish area for dining services. Responsibilities include transporting, washing, and storing dishes and utensils in a timely manner.

You will respond to resident concerns professionally and uphold safety standards to protect staff and residents while supporting the culinary team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Six months of kitchen or similar setting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to pass criminal background and health screenings including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen after meals; wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Break down the kitchen for clean-up; sanitize dish room and dining areas.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperation with coworkers and other departments.
