Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Dishwasher for its senior living communities in California. The role ensures dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly and supports overall kitchen operations in alignment with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include prep for service, transporting and sanitizing wares, and assisting with kitchen clean-up while maintaining safety and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of kitchen or similar setting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to interact and communicate effectively with residents, staff and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• May be required to vaccinate and follow safety protocols per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen and return clean dishes to storage.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation after meals.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
