Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Sonoma, CA is seeking a part-time Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to support our community dining program. You will help keep pots, pans, and dishware clean so residents receive meals safely and on time.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, storing items correctly, maintaining the dish area, and assisting the kitchen team as needed. Prior kitchen experience is helpful; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area (sweeping/mopping).
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste promptly.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Sanitize food preparation surfaces and storage areas.
• Support kitchen staff during meal prep and service.
• Replenish cleaning chemicals, towels, and soap dispensers for sanitation.
