Vitality Living is seeking a Cook for its Saint Simons Island, GA community to deliver a nutritious culinary experience for residents and visitors. You will follow menus, prep meals, and ensure safety and quality in a timely manner.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of institutional or full-service restaurant cooking experience, strong English communication, and solid food safety knowledge. This is an on-site, full-time role with a focus on attentive service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain food safety procedures and sanitation knowledge.
• Demonstrate ability to follow company menus and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and production records for instructions.
• Prepare meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and served on time.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and portion-control policies.
• Ensure food and supplies are available for planned meals.
• Supervise serving carts and assist when needed.
• Prepare and serve meals attractively and promptly.
• Label, date, and store leftovers properly.
• Clean kitchen areas after meals per schedule.
• Address resident food complaints when required.
• Assist in onboarding and training as requested.
