Sedgebrook Senior Living is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Culinary Services team. You will independently prepare meals, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a high-performing dining operation in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of cooking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ServSafe certification (preferred after hire). This full-time, on-site role offers benefits and a steady schedule.

Formación

• 5+ years of cooking experience.
• Experience in healthcare/senior living dining environments preferred.
• Culinary training preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (required after hire).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare lunch, dinner, and special event meals according to standardized recipes.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Follow HAACP food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Assist with supervising, training, and supporting culinary staff.
• Help oversee kitchen operations in the absence of management.
