The Lodge at Wake Forest (Hawthorn Senior Living) is hiring a Kitchen Helper to prepare, wash, and store dishes, assist in serving meals, and clear tables for residents. The role is cross-trained for other positions by the Community Executive Chef and requires strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures, and contributing to a busy kitchen environment with a focus on resident care and safety.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to meet regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, wash and store dishes and help serve meals.
• Clear dishes at residents' tables following procedures.
• Work as part of the food services team to ensure safe, smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Follow safety and sanitation practices and adhere to policies.
