Aviva Senior Living – West Hartford, CT is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain heating, cooling, ventilation, and climate control systems throughout the community. This on-site role involves preventive maintenance, quick responses to resident requests, and coordination with contractors to ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has EPA 608 Certification, 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Formación

• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Three or more years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with boilers, rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, and building controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain all HVAC, ventilation, and climate control systems throughout the community.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce emergency repairs and downtime.
• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, furnaces, air handlers, and thermostats.
• Respond quickly to HVAC-related service requests from residents and staff.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace motors, belts, bearings, filters, compressors, capacitors, contactors, and other HVAC components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialty repairs and warranty work.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies as needed.
