Job summary

Allaire Health Services, LLC is seeking a Licensed HVAC Maintenance Technician to join the facilities team in New Jersey. You will maintain, repair, and service HVAC systems to ensure safe, comfortable environments for residents and staff.

Qualified candidates have EPA 608 certification, an HVAC license, and at least 2 years in HVAC maintenance (healthcare or senior living preferred). Strong reading of blueprints and safety practices required.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• HVAC license as required by state/local regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years HVAC maintenance experience; healthcare or senior living preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (boilers, chillers, split systems, exhaust fans, thermostats).
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor system operations, including air quality and temperature control.
• Inspect systems and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Maintain service logs and regulatory/safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety regs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Uphold a professional environment in resident/patient areas.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, split systems, exhaust fans, and thermostats

• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC-related issues and implement effective solutions

• Monitor and maintain proper system operations, including air quality and temperature control

• Inspect systems for wear and tear and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements

• Maintain service logs, records, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and safety standards

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests

• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Uphold a professional and respectful environment in resident and patient areas

Qualifications:

• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification (required)

• Valid HVAC license as required by state and local regulations

• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC maintenance experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions

• High school diploma or GED; completion of an HVAC training program preferred
