Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Fox Run Village in Novi, MI is hiring a Housekeeping Utility Worker to maintain cleanliness across the community, including event setup and safe handling of heavy items on campus.

You will operate carpet and hard floor care equipment, manage trash removal, move furniture, and assist residents with item deliveries, all while following safety procedures. This on-site role offers benefits and a compensation rate up to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care and hard floor care equipment.
• DOT/Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces: scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing, and waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces: extracting, cleaning, spotting, drying, vacuuming.
• Clean vertical surfaces such as doors, walls, or windows.
• Remove trash and recycling following prescribed procedures.
• Move and arrange furniture in common spaces and apartments.
• Deliver residents’ items to storage, vehicles, apartments or other areas.
• Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles safely.
