Job summary

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker to maintain community cleanliness using specialized equipment, clean floors and surfaces, and set up rooms for events on campus.

Responsibilities include trash removal, moving heavy objects, and assisting with resident items while on site. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a D.O.T. certificate are required, with compensation between $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and other cleaning gear.
• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred.
• CDL class B may be required with air brake endorsement.
• Must have current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces (scrubbing, mopping, waxing).
• Maintain carpeted surfaces (extracting, vacuuming).
• Clean vertical surfaces (doors, walls, windows).
• Remove trash and recyclables following procedures.
• Move and arrange furniture in common spaces and residential areas.
• Deliver residents' items to storage, vehicles, or apartments.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely.
