Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Genesee Gardens in Flint, MI seeks a Housekeeper to maintain residents' apartments and community areas in a clean and sanitary condition. You will perform general housekeeping tasks, manage linens, and support dining services with a courteous, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities include cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry, following safety procedures, and ensuring a welcoming living environment for residents and staff daily.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community interiors, including residents' apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion.
• Provide general housekeeping for common areas and apartments: vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, dining areas, hallways, patios, and resident spaces.
• Clean refrigerators, check heat system filters, change linens, and manage linen supplies; turn mattresses with assistance; empty waste baskets.
• Launder linens; follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Serve residents/beverages, take orders, and assist with meals and cleanup; reset tables after meals.
