Job summary

Autumn House Bloomfield Hills is seeking a dependable housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for our residents. You will clean apartments, common areas, and facilities, restock supplies, and ensure privacy and dignity of residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork with staff, adherence to infection-control policies, and availability to work weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping or healthcare experience is helpful but not required, astraining is available.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, and facility spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Change linens and make beds as needed.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Keep hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and shared spaces clean and welcoming.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report low inventory.
• Safely use and store cleaning products and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items.
• Help keep vacant apartments tour and move-in ready.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping areas.
• Follow infection-control, safety, OSHA/CDC, and facility policies.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with all departments and staff.
