Covenant Living at the Samarkand in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide campus cleaning and light maintenance support. The role covers multiple areas, following established schedules and infection control standards to ensure residents live in a clean, safe environment.

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping experience, strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to manage daily cleaning tasks with limited supervision.

Competenze

• Some high school education.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written.
• Dependability and common sense, ability to organize daily cleaning schedule.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Mansioni

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedule and infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, plunging toilets and changing batteries.
• Perform cleaning tasks inside and outside per department standards.
• Maintain floors: sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, and buffing as scheduled.
• Assist in cleaning spills and moving rooms during transfers/discharges.
• Participate in linen program and bed-making as needed.
• Observe and report needed repairs to facilities and equipment.
