Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform cleaning and minor maintenance across our campus to keep facilities in good condition for residents and staff.

The role involves following schedules, assisting in linen tasks, and supporting resident transfers. Weekend availability may be required, with opportunities for a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school education is the minimum.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, with residents and staff.
• Dependability and common sense; ability to organize daily cleaning schedule.
• Interest in working with older adults.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following schedule and standards.
• Complete minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets and replacing batteries as needed.
• Perform cleaning tasks inside and outside per department standards.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming and more as scheduled.
• Assist in cleaning emergencies and spills.
• Deep clean rooms/units during transfers or discharges as required.
• Move furniture as needed and assist in resident moves.
• Participate in campus linen program and bed making in guest rooms or residences.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs as needed.
