Covenant Living Communities & Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. You will perform cleaning in assigned areas, handle minor maintenance tasks, and assist with resident moves while maintaining high standards of infection control. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
• Dependability and common sense, and the ability to organize daily cleaning schedule to finish each day’s assignment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policy and procedures, with limited direct supervision.
• An interest in and desire to work with older adults is desired.
• May require availability on weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedule and infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, plunge toilets and change batteries as needed.
• Move furniture as needed and assist in resident moves at transfer/discharge.
• Participate in campus linen program and helping with bed making in guest rooms or residences.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs to facilities as appropriate.
• Perform deep cleaning of rooms/units as needed at times of transfer/discharge.
• Observe and report the need for repairs to facilities, furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Assist in receiving campus supplies and snow/ice salting as needed.
