The Highlands at Wyomissing is seeking a Residential Housekeeper for full-time, day shift. You will provide housekeeping across apartments, healthcare areas, and common spaces, delivering excellent customer service to our senior residents.

This role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with the care team. Responsibilities include cleaning residential living areas, public spaces, and core areas, while following infection control standards and participating in ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required if working in Personal Care or Assisted Living Areas)
• 1-3 Years of experience working with Senior Adults or in a customer service setting
• 1-3 Years prior housekeeping experience (Preferred)
• Completion of the Highlands Hearthstone Ambassador training within 30 days of employment (Required)

Responsibilities

• Adheres to proper and regulatory procedures for cleaning and sanitizing the facility, complying with essential job tasks while striving for a high-quality standard.
• Maintains safe and responsible use of chemicals and equipment.
• Sorts, counts, stocks and distributes clean linen items as required.
• Follow all prescribed cleaning procedures for various areas of the facility including routine inspections of area of leadership.
• Moves and exchanges carts, take down and re-hang sheers and drapes.
• Utilizes Standard precautions for infection control.
• Move furniture items to facilitate cleaning or set up for events; occasional ladder use.
• Demonstrates interest in learning additional aspects of the job.
