Job summary

Homewood Living Frederick is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, orderly and safe living environment throughout the facility. This full-time, day-shift role requires attention to detail and safety in a senior living setting.

You will follow infection control guidelines, handle housekeeping tasks (dusting, mopping, sanitizing) and assist with laundry and supply organization. A high school diploma is preferred, and the job includes benefits such as paid time off, insurance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to push/pull sweepers and housekeeping carts, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently during an 8 hour shift.
• Operates housekeeping and laundry machines.

Responsibilities

• Provides a clean, orderly and safe living environment throughout the facility.
• Takes measures to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Performs general daily cleaning (dusting, mopping, disinfecting) in assigned areas.
• Keeps furniture arranged neatly and maintains supplies.
• Performs duties as directed by supervisor.
