Job summary

Vitality-Livin is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services teammate to clean resident suites and community areas on a scheduled basis. You will perform tasks including vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, and linen/towel changes to ensure a comfortable environment for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, communicate effectively in English, meet health requirements, and aspire to serve older adults and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Desire to work with older adults and their families.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites according to schedule, including vacuuming carpets, spot-cleaning carpets, cleaning ceilings and walls, dusting surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and refrigerators, replacing bed linens and towels, and removing trash.
• Assist in Annual Suite Service of resident suites and maintain common areas to schedule (vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, windows).
• Deep clean community common areas according to schedule.
• Collaborate with team members to improve resident and family experience.
• Attend onboarding and annual training, in-services and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Environmental Services Director.
