Better Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our assisted living community. You will manage cleanliness for resident apartments, common areas, and facility spaces while upholding infection control standards and resident comfort.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, linens, and coordination with care staff to support overall resident well-being and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and within a team with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Perform daily and scheduled cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lounges, dining rooms, and restrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and furniture as needed.
• Change linens, make beds, and launder resident or facility items as assigned.
• Safely handle and store cleaning supplies following infection control protocols.
• Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to staff promptly.
• Respect resident privacy and belongings while working in living spaces.
• Assist in preparing rooms for new residents to ensure a clean move-in experience.
• Collaborate with care staff and other departments to support resident well-being.
