Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. in California is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents. You will clean apartments, common areas, and amenities while supporting a comfortable, home-like environment.

You'll perform laundry duties, stock supplies, follow sanitation standards, and cooperate with maintenance and staff. Must complete training, handle various schedules, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident apartments and common areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Clean public areas and resident apartments including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows and floors.
• Perform laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens.
• Stock cleaning carts with supplies and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure safety and sanitation in all areas and assist maintenance as needed.
