Milestone is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to support the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our assisted living and memory care community. You will perform housekeeping and laundry duties, maintain common areas, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards while providing friendly, respectful interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping/ cleaning experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Strong communication with residents, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments including bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, bed making and linen changes.
• Maintain linen inventory and perform laundry services.
• Keep common areas clean and presentable for residents and visitors.
• Perform floor care: sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, carpet care.
• Sanitize restrooms and surfaces; manage cleaning supplies safely.
• Participate in training and on-the-job learning opportunities.
• Respond to resident emergencies and support safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and licensing rules.
