The Canterbury House in Roxboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, waste management, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas and resident rooms.
• Laundry Services: washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly, keep waste areas clean.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and equipment and report shortages.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety and sanitation protocols for a hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to maintain the facility.
• Resident Engagement: engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
