New Hanover House in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for our residents. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and waste management duties to ensure a safe, welcoming facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience, and a passion for caring for seniors. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and reliable, compassionate service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Clean and maintain; vacuum, dust, sanitize, and mop common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring waste areas are clean and organized.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment.
• Work closely with other staff to ensure the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
