Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas and resident rooms.
• Handle laundry services for residents and staff as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean and organized.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure residents are comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
