Job summary

The Landings of Chestnut Grove is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and basic maintenance to uphold high standards of safety and comfort.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well with others in a compassionate, elder-focused setting. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly; keep waste areas clean.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and report shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety protocols to maintain hygienic, safe environments.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident Engagement: interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
