The Landings of Northport is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility. You will perform general cleaning, assist with laundry, and help manage waste and supplies to create a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly and keep waste areas clean.
• Inventory Management: maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment, report shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident Engagement: interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
