Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices, following schedules and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year of housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality, with attention to detail and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. (education requirement)
• 1 year housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor; able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners.
• Launder and replace linens and textiles as needed.
• Follow community cleaning schedule and safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions.
• Respect residents’ privacy and preferences while cleaning living spaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Follow infection control and sanitation protocols.
