Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents across our communities. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices, while ensuring high sanitation standards and respectful interactions with residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of housekeeping experience in senior living or healthcare, with attention to detail, reliability, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Launder and replace linens and towels as needed.
• Follow community cleaning schedule and safety precautions.
• Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions.
• Respect residents’ privacy and preferences while cleaning living spaces.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs to supervisor.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Follow infection control and sanitation protocols.
