Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff in our Alexandria, VA community. You will handle routine cleaning of rooms, baths, and common areas, while following schedules and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in housekeeping within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality, with strong attention to detail and a professional, friendly approach. High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor; maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces and offices.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets and showers.
• Empty trash and replace liners; launder and replace linens.
• Follow community cleaning schedule and safety precautions.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Respect residents' privacy while cleaning living spaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely; follow infection control protocols.
