Distinctive Living is seeking a Housekeeper (Full-Time or Part-Time) to perform housekeeping and laundry tasks for a managed community location. The role includes cleaning apartments and common areas, laundering linens, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while communicating with the supervisor on pertinent matters.

The position emphasizes care for residents, attention to detail, and teamwork in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning of bathroom fixtures and floors.
• Change bedding and linens as part of weekly housekeeping duties.
• Interact with residents in a friendly manner and communicate concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including entry, corridors, and dining areas.
• Clean floors, carpets, and restrooms, ensuring safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle hazardous cleaning supplies per procedures and labeling.
• Attend in-service training and scheduled educational programs.
• Respond to resident emergencies following established protocol.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and licensing regulations.
• Work safely, report injuries, and support safety processes.
• Foster teamwork and take initiative to assist colleagues and residents.
• Develop basic knowledge of the organization to answer questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
