Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents across communities. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, laundry coordination, and ensuring sanitary facilities, all while interacting with residents in a courteous, friendly manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Interacts with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds occasionally and can stand, walk, and reach throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices according to schedule.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums floors and runners; rotates runners in hallways and entryways.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatories, showers, and sinks; stocks dispensers.
• Scrubs bath and shower tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintains equipment and materials in clean, orderly condition.
• Collects trash and redistributes it to designated areas.
• Manages community laundry and keeps the commercial laundry clean and sanitary.
• Keeps cleaning chemicals stored securely and cords/equipment out of walkways.
