Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, CA, is seeking a Housekeeper to clean resident apartments, public areas, and laundry for residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner. Schedule: 8:00a-4:30p, Sunday–Thursday.

The role requires prior housekeeping or janitorial experience, at least 18 years of age, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/health precautions or PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
