Job summary

Era Living is seeking part-time Food Servers for the Ida Culver House Broadview community in North Seattle, WA. Shifts run 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 4:00 PM–8:00 PM, with weekend availability. Potential to move to full-time by covering multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Amazing customer service skills, sensitivity to older adults' needs.
• Ability to follow established food service practices and host/busser duties.
• Ability to take and submit orders and manage time efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass DSHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and serve residents and guests in dining room.
• Assist in set-up, service, and breakdown for daily meals and events.
• Take accurate orders, manage seating, and ensure prompt service.
• Serve meals per established standards; handle to-go orders and delivery.
• Bus and clean tables; sanitize dining area for next shift.
• Support resident functions in private dining areas.
• Relay compliments/complaints to Dining Services Director.
• Assist dishwasher with storing clean dishes.
• Follow safety standards and report concerns.
