Job summary

Era Living is seeking part-time Food Servers to join our Dining Services team at Ida Culver House Broadview in North Seattle, WA. Shifts run 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 4:00 PM–8:00 PM, with weekend availability and potential to move to full-time if additional shifts are possible.

As a Food Server, you will welcome residents, take accurate orders, deliver meals, assist with setup and cleanup, and help maintain a clean dining area while following safety standards. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Amazing customer service skills; sensitivity to the needs and concerns of older adults.
• Ability to follow established food service practices and perform all host/busser/server functions.
• Ability to take and submit food orders within established policies; manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in pre-meal and post-meal responsibilities; assists in set-up, service and breakdown.
• Greet residents and guests, manage seating, take accurate orders, and ensure prompt service.
• Serve meals following established service standards; manage resident to-go meals and delivery per community standards.
• Bus and clean tables after each course; sanitize dining room for next shift.
• Assist in set-up, service, and breakdown of resident functions in private dining room or common areas.
• Respond to resident questions and concerns; provide comment cards; report compliments/ complaints to Dining Services Director.
• Assist dishwasher in storing clean dishes and maintain safety standards.
