Job summary

LakeHouse Manitowoc is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the community’s facilities, housekeeping, transportation, and preventative maintenance programs on-site. You will manage vendor contracts, inspections, and adherence to safety standards to ensure a well-maintained campus for residents and staff.

The role requires HVAC and electrical/plumbing knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting budget goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelors/Technical degree in related field.
• Four years maintenance supervision experience.
• HVAC experience or training.
• Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing and related repair.
• Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems and disaster preparedness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Provides leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the maintenance of the community buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets.
• Executes housekeeping, laundry and transportation services per policy and procedures.
• Oversees total operation and maintenance of the campus and high standards of construction.
• Develops vendor relationships and negotiates maintenance contracts.
• Inspects apartments prior to occupancy.
• May handle after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Implements a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.
• Plans and leads overall housekeeping and laundry operations in line with laws.
• Reviews monthly financials and initiates action plans for deficiencies.
• Manages staffing and scheduling within budget.
