Job summary

Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations in a long-term care setting. You will schedule staff, coordinate cleaning of offices, public areas, residences and grounds, and inspect all resident and public spaces to ensure high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience and/or training is required.
• Supervision and scheduling experience is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and grounds.
• Conducts regular inspections of resident and public areas to maintain high standards.
• Plans and schedules cleaning programs including move-in preparations and carpet cleaning.
• Monitors inventory, orders equipment and supplies, and ensures safe handling and storage.
• Conducts training sessions for housekeeping staff and ensures safety compliance with MSDS/OSHA/EPA.
