Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking an on-site Maintenance Director in Lincoln, NE to oversee all aspects of community upkeep, grounds, and facilities. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, supervise maintenance and housekeeping teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering Residents First service.

You will manage work orders, communicate with residents, and respond to after-hours needs, supporting a high-quality living environment across independent, assisted, and memory

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in all phases of residential maintenance.
• Must maintain licensure/certifications as required by state and federal agencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the community including grounds, fences, parking areas, ditches, community houses, swimming pools, spas, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations.
• Maintain service equipment, power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs per manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
• Maintain maintenance records and use work order system to track repairs.
• Communicate with residents about the status of repairs.
• Provide full-service, on-call maintenance 24/7.
• Conduct daily inspections of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies including documenting inspections/maintenance of fire extinguishers, ladders, MSDS notebooks, fire exits, and fire prevention and alarm systems.
• Ensure safety of residents, visitors, and associates by identifying and resolving hazards.
• Maintain and control maintenance supply inventory.
• Listen to resident complaints and respond to suggestions regarding maintenance and appearance.
• Work with management to market and manage the community.
• Supervise the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments.
