Job summary

Sagora's Asher Point of Lincoln community in Lincoln, NE seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance and appearance of the community, including grounds and equipment, and to manage landscaping for surrounding grounds. The role supports independent living, assisted living, or memory care, with Residents First and a strong team focus.

The Maintenance Director will supervise the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in all phases of residential maintenance.
• Must maintain licensure/certification as required by state and federal agencies.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and high attention to detail.
• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License where necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff.
• Knowledge of Life Safety regulations, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the community including grounds, fences, parking areas, ditches, community houses, pools, spas, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations.
• Maintain service equipment, power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturers' guidelines and specifications.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and use the work order system to track repairs.
• Communicate with residents about the status of repairs.
• Coordinate and provide full-service, on-call maintenance 24/7.
• Daily inspection of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and document inspections/maintenance of fire safety equipment.
• Ensure safety for residents, visitors, and staff; identify and resolve hazards.
• Maintain and control maintenance supply inventory.
• Respond to resident complaints and suggestions about maintenance and appearance.
• Collaborate with management to market and manage the community.
• Supervise Maintenance and Housekeeping departments.
