Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Modesto, CA, seeks a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance, housekeeping and laundry, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for residents, staff and guests.

You will oversee budgets, coordinate vendors, implement preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and mentor a team to uphold MBK’s values of quality service.

Experience in healthcare or senior living facilities and a strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance/facilities management in healthcare or similar community setting.
• 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with building automation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for major systems.
• Manage department budget and forecast equipment replacements.
• Coordinate resident maintenance requests and manage external vendors.
