Job summary

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations of a new senior living community. You will drive P&L performance, recruit and train department heads, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include budgeting, compliance with EOEA and DOH regulations, and building a strong, motivated team. This role offers growth potential within a startup‑like environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five to seven years in skilled nursing or retirement living facility/community management.
• Three to five years in operations management with financial goals experience.
• Experience building a customer-service oriented workforce.
• Experience recruiting and training others.
• Understanding of facilities management.
• Strong performance management and documentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of community strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff across departments.
• Ensure compliance with EOEA regulations and internal policies.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital requirements.
• Foster relationships with corporate resources and local communities.
• Ensure safe, high-quality operations and occupancy strategies.
