Job summary

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities is seeking a Resident Care Director to oversee the resident services department, ensuring safe operation, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care. The RCD will plan, implement, and evaluate care, monitor health functioning, and revise care plans for residents.

This role provides supervision of nursing staff, coordinates health services with PCPs, and ensures appropriate staffing and training while maintaining strong relationships with residents,

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Certification or licensure per state guidelines.
• Completion of required HallKeen training programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the clinical status of potential residents prior to admission.
• Supervise the medication management program and assist residents with self-administration.
• Develop and monitor service plans for residents per state regulations.
• Maintain health-related documentation and report changes to the Executive Director.
• Ensure adequate staffing and train new Nursing and Resident Care staff.
• Coordinate health services and liaise with PCPs and physicians.
