Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director / Administrator to lead an Assisted Living / Residential Living Community. You will drive day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a warm, nurturing environment that enhances residents’ quality of life.

This role requires licensure/certification, strong leadership, and a patient-first mindset. You will oversee medical, nursing, and administrative functions, manage the budget and occupancy, and engage with residents’

Qualifications

• Current state Administrator licensure or certification, as required by state regulations.
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT), if required by the state.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living or healthcare leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the community with a resident-first mindset.
• Oversee medical, nursing, and administrative functions to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage the community budget, occupancy, and revenue growth.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of caregivers and support staff.
• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
